A place to relax
A lovely stone cottage with a cosy feel. There is flagstone flooring in the kitchen and lounge which is in keeping with the cottage. The lounge has a fireplace with a logburner, and spacious groundfloor bathroom with walk in shower. Outside offers a private garden with outdoor seating and bbq area. Well lit steps lead out from the front of the cottage, with free parking available.
A place to enjoy outdoors
Situated within a forestry commissioned cul-de-sac, the cottage is perfectly positioned for cycling enthusiasts, with a family cycle trail running past the front gate. Bike hire is available within a 10 minute walk.
With views that look out over the RSPB Nature Reserve, it's the perfect location for a spot of running and walking too including a 10 minute walk to Parkend train station in which you can watch the regular steam trains arrive and leave. Afterwards, within 50yrds of the front door, enjoy locally sourced food and a cold drink at the Woodman Inn.

Upstairs offers accommodation for a family of 4, with a generous sized double bedroom and adjacent twin room. With local amenities including daily food at Whitemead Forest Park, Cafes, a Post Office (within a 5 minute walk), and easy access to local restaurants and takeways - the location makes for the perfect getaway from everyday life!

This warm, modern space has everything you might need after spending time walking or cycling in the forest. It offers plenty of space to store coats, jackets, walking boots etc. A heated drying rail is provided to dry off any clothing. There is also a Belfast sink and a range of appliances, which include a washing machine, tumble dryer and fridge freezer. The outbuilding also has an additional secure storage area which it accessed from the lane. This is an ideal space to store mountain bikes, cycle racks, or any other larger items. This amazing space is a great addition to the cottage and one that guests will surely appreiciate and enjoy.
